Ronald Duncan grew up in South Miami, FL, raised by his grandmother Delores "Dodo" Harris, family, and neighborhood. He is an alumnus of DePaul University in Chicago, IL, with an MA in Publishing, Writing, & Literature from Emerson College in Boston, MA. He is a published scholar and lecturer with expertise in building up and supporting others in their goals and pursuits.
Since he was a kid, Mr. Duncan has enjoyed print and media production. His first experience was in the 8th-grade newspaper club, where he wrote a murder mystery column based on the TGIF ABC TV sitcom Family Matters!
He is passionate about volunteerism, teaching, technology, writing, the performing arts, and working face-to-face and side-by-side with civil service organizations. His grandmother raised him to follow the Lord God and help others in confidence, laughter, joy, and peace.
Currently, he is a doctoral candidate pursuing his EDD in Postsecondary Leadership, focusing on writing, technology, and persistence at National Louis University
in Chicago, IL.
